# Fees

> Portir charges nothing. Here is everything you do pay, and to whom.

| Fee | Who charges it | Who pays | When |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Portir fee** | | | None. Portir takes no fee on buys, plans, sell rules or loans |
| **Gas** | BNB Chain validators | You, in BNB, for transactions your wallet signs | Every transaction |
| **Agent gas** | BNB Chain validators | The operator, for `pullFunds`, `recordRun` and other executor transactions | Each recorded run |
| **Swap fee** | The route (Binance Web3 Wallet / PancakeSwap pools) | You, deducted from the fill | Each buy or sell |
| **Issuer spread** | Market | You, as the gap between on-chain and exchange price | Each buy; the Guard shows it |
| **Loan interest** | Venus | You, on borrowed USDT | While a loan is open |
| **AI model** | Groq | The operator | Chat and news check |

## Worked example

You buy \$50 of NVDA at 3 AM Jakarta time:

* The Guard sees the on-chain price 0.30% above the exchange: **GO**, you pay about \$0.15 over the exchange price.
* Gas for approval and swap on BSC: a few cents of BNB (about \$0.05 of BNB covers a purchase).
* Portir fee: **\$0**.

<Note>
  Gas on BSC is very low (about 0.05 gwei at the time of writing), so gas is a fixed cost of cents per transaction. It matters for very small orders: on a $1 order it is a few percent; on a $50 order it is negligible.
</Note>

## Minimums

| Item | Minimum |
| - | - |
| Manual buy, per holding | \$1 (Binance Trading API minimum) |
| Plan run, per holding | \$1 |
| Plan interval | 1 day (app offers weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly) |
