# Set a sell rule

> Take profit or stop a loss automatically.

  <Step title="Choose how many shares">Exactly that many will be sold.</Step>
  <Step title="Save">Your wallet approves the registry for those shares and signs **Save the sell rule**.</Step>

The agent checks the real price every 15 minutes, with no time limit. Once it crosses your trigger while the market is open, it sells the shares and sends the USDT to your wallet.
